There are times in AIOLOS that we go deep in our existential problems (usually late at night) and we ask ourselves (or we ask each other, so it gets more interactive and therefore we can call it a meeting) and we wonder what really is our business. It is wine? Alcohol in general? Or, is it people and families what we deal with? People that charm us and let us take in our lives their views towards life… Varvayiannis Family: if ouzo was wine then the island of Lesvos would be Burgundy and Varvayiannis Distillery would be Domaine Meo-Camuzet. A tradition lasting more than 150 years. Respectfully caressing the copper pot. Leaving no detail to chance. Producing a magnificent spirit that vividly shows the ample use of knowledge and instinct. Abandoning all pretentiousness. If life was perfect, then there wouldn’t be a single moment without a bottle of Ouzo Varvayianni close in hand.
