Domaine William Fevre

William Fevre is a famous name in Chablis. The house produces wines from all Premiers and Grand Crus of Chablis. It has been instumental as very few in promoting the brand name Chablis. He has fought against those who support the irrational expansion of the appellation. On the other hand, a good part of his neighbors criticize him as they believe that a proper Chablis wine must not age in barrel but in tank. Fevre replies that “The barrel gives body, aromas and depth to the wine” Even the simple Champs-Royaux justifies his words. Crystal clear, dense texture, excellent ageing potential.
